Our Humble Beginnings
Maggannie Property Solutions was founded on a simple belief: well-maintained properties strengthen neighborhoods, protect investments, and create opportunities for long-term wealth.
Our roots run deep in real estate. Coming from a family with a long history of owning and operating multi-family rental properties, our founder, Valerie Jefferson, gained hands-on experience through family-owned properties, construction projects, and contracting businesses. Over the years, she became a trusted resource for family, friends, and fellow property owners, helping navigate renovations, contractors, property improvements, housing requirements, and operational challenges.
What began as helping others solve property-related problems evolved into Maggannie Property Solutions a company focused on helping property owners and real estate investors protect, improve, and maximize the value of their assets.
Today, we provide consulting, project management, renovation oversight, vendor coordination, and operational support designed to simplify property ownership and improve investment performance.
Our philosophy is simple: We treat every property and project as if it were our own.
Valerie Jefferson - President
Valerie holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Management & Technology from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Business Management from Albertus Magnus College. Throughout her professional career, she has held leadership roles in Customer Service, Logistics, Project Management, Operations, and Customer Experience for organizations across Connecticut.
With deep roots in real estate and property ownership, Valerie began supporting rental property owners more than 20 years ago by assisting family, friends, and fellow investors with property improvements, renovations, contractor coordination, and operational challenges. This experience led her to establish Maggannie Property Solutions, a company focused on helping property owners and investors protect, improve, and maximize the value of their real estate assets.
Valerie combines decades of corporate leadership experience with hands-on real estate knowledge to provide consulting, project management, renovation oversight, vendor coordination, and operational support. Her expertise in project execution, process improvement, and strategic planning helps clients successfully navigate property-related projects and investment opportunities.
Beyond her professional work, Valerie serves in several board and leadership positions with organizations dedicated to empowering youth and underserved communities. Through these roles, she supports initiatives focused on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, wealth building, homeownership, credit education, career readiness, and economic empowerment.
In 2026, Valerie expanded her real estate services by becoming a licensed Realtor® with SB Realty Group LLC, further strengthening her ability to help clients buy, sell, invest, and build generational wealth through real estate.
